Blogmas Day 8: Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain

4:29 PM

Hello Everyone!
I've given this stain a try a couple of times already and I am very obsessed with it.
I really like to where it for a pop of color on gloomy & sad looking days this fall. I think this stain is great right now for fall and it will also be fun to wear in the spring and summer time.
(I hauled this last month from Target.)
Sorry about the quality of the pictures.
I accidentally changed the settings on my camera and this is the best I could do.

Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain

My Fist Impression:
When I first applied it it did feel very gel like so I can see how it's a gel formula.
It applies very easy and gives an instant shine and the color is very bright.

Swatches:

My Thoughts:
One of my favorite lip products for when I want a pop of color.
Originally I picked this color to get my self use to a darker lip and to be able to transition to a darker red color soon.

Color Pay-off:
This is a pretty berry color.
For the day time I like to apply one coat I clean up the edges and it looks great for this fall weather.
For the night time I like to add a second coat and build up the color it gives my lips a more darker berry color which I'm in love with.

Overall:
I plan on picking up other shades of this stain which tells you I really like this product.
I give this Stain a 4 out of 5.
The only thing is that as much as I love the crayon style because it's a lot of fun, after using the stain for a couple of times the tip begins to get wider (if that makes sense) and it tends to be harder to apply because it goes outside the edges of the lips which not a big deal I just clean up the edges.

Have you tried any of the Balm Stains lately!?
I personally love Revlon products that's why I went with this balm stain but let me know if you recommend any others or if you would like to me review any other brands.
Thank you for stopping by.
