Blogmas Day 20: Favorite of the Week
11:45 PM
Hello Everyone!
Okay this is one of my latest posts, lately I haven't had time during the day to share a post with you all!
But I'm determined to finish blogmas and not skip any days.
Today I want to share one of my latest favorites, and that is dry shampoo.
I raved about this product in my Red Hair Routine post and it continues to be one of my favorites.
Dry Shampoo
My Tools:
Conair Curling Iron Target Only $8.29
Paddle Brush Forever 21 $3's
Dove Dry Shampoo Target
All the tools I use are very affordable and they all work great.
This dry shampoo has been so amazing it has made me go from 'horrible bad hair day' to 'I can work with this.'
I normally wash my hair maybe 2-3 times a week and to be able to extend my breaks from washing my hair on
Day 1 I will blow dry my hair
Day 2 curl my hair
Day 3 put it up in a bun; this is normally when it starts getting oily so, I add dry shampoo to give it volume and not look oily.
Day 4 most of the time I'm able to put my hair down again and because it's been in a bun it has volume and after using this dry shampoo, brushing it out and blow drying it, for more volume, I re-curl the edges and come out with this hair day.
Quick Tip:
When using dry shampoo the trick is you have to spray your hair in sections and very quickly!
Do quick strokes as you lift your hair, hope that makes sense.
You don't want to spray directly in one area because it will look like you dyed your hair white, not a good look trust me.
It has been so great to not have to wash my hair as much because I'm able to keep my hair color a bit longer or at least try and get away with it. Even with my hair fading I still get compliments on the color.
It changes everyday and I love it!
