Rest in Peace8:24 PM
Yesterday was a sad day for a lot of people hearing the news of Jenni Rivera being in an accident and later the news announcing her passing. Now I was not a big fan of her music, but I did admire her as a Hispanic Women and where she got in her life. She also grew up in Long Beach, Ca where I grew up my whole life and for her to come from here and to have done what she did in her life is very inspiring. My mother and friends are big fans of her music and they were heart broken at hearing the news.
May she rest in peace.
Her accident reminded me of when my all time favorite singer Selena passed away. I was 5 years old, but I remember singing to her songs dancing to them and dressing up like she did in her concerts. I loved her music and to this day I still listen and play all her music, of course now I understand what they mean. I will forever remember her as my Idol growing up.
I wanted to share this with you all because no matter who we are celebrity, poor, rich whatever, we are all not promised tomorrow. And we should cherish the time we have in this world and spend it with people we love and do the things we want in our life and not let anything hold us back.
