Hello Everyone!

Today I went to ULTA for the first time.
I've always been curious to go but I always end up at Target. 

I've wanted to try different make up brands so I had to try somewhere new. 

I was like a kid at a candy store it was so much fun to shop and look at all the different sections they have.

From the higher end to the same drugstore products I'm used to. 

It's so organized, clean, and your able to test out most of the products. 

The people who work there are so nice and if you have any questions they're there to help.

I don't know what I've been waiting for to go but I will defiantly be going back. 

First ULTA Haul

When it comes to getting ready to go I can be the biggest procrastinator and because I know this I prepare ahead of time. I always make sure I have work clothes that go well together in case I haven't done laundry I can still work with what I have. 

That's pretty much what happen today, all I had are these gray pants so I literally threw on the pants, pulled a white tank top, picked my cardigan to add a pop of color and of course put on some heels. 

I think it took me about 5 minutes to put it all together if not less then I added my heart ring, watch and necklace (which I wear almost everyday).

I have yet to do a July favorites because I don't have many new items to show you or anything different from my past favorites, but one thing I have been obsessed with this past month have been maxi dresses! 

At this point off at the top of my head I know I have at least eight maxi dresses in my collection; for some it may not seem like much but to me that's a lot of maxi dresses to have for the summer and I'm so excited to wear them all!

My most recent purchases have been from Target and Forever 21 which you can check out on this post here. 

I have really been liking ordering on line from Forever 21, I don't have to look through racks and different sections I just click and it comes to my house in a couple of days. Oh, that's one thing I wanted to mention Forever 21's shipping is so quick and right on point, they send email confirmations and tracking information, I love that since I am all about customer service. 

So on to what I got; the only thing I was looking for was a dress for my Goddaughter's 1st birthday and I found two I couldn't decide on them so I got both, why not right?!

If you follow me on Instagram you already know that I recently chopped my hair off and it wasn't a spur of the moment kind of thing, I have talked about doing it before and it was time for a change. 

I've always had my hair pretty long so cutting it short is a huge change, but I'm no stranger to it, I've had it short before not too long ago.

Okay, so the point to this post is to throw back pictures of my short hair and to share with you how I plan to style this crazy short hair. When I had it short before I wasn't sure how to style it and what to do with it so, I kind of sort of started hating it. This time around I looked up styling videos for short hair and I can't wait to try them out it's actually nothing crazy I could have figured it out on my own but it's cool to see other girls with cute short hair.

The last time I had short hair, I would say almost two years ago. It was a little longer than I have it now.

She recently cut her hair and I swear it always looks cute.

Yesterday I had a couple parties to attend from a bridal shower to a baby shower with my mother and sister, so I picked this awesome dress for the whole day events.
I knew we would be going from party to party and like always I wanted to be comfortable, and this dress served as an awesome blanket when it got cold.I felt an all black outfit was safe for all the events.

Classic Black Maxi Dress

I have given this BB cream a try for over a week now and I 'm ready to share my thoughts on it!
I hauled it over a week ago from Target (check out the haul here!)
I wanted to give it a fair try, so with this one I didn't want to do a first impression.
 Depending on my skin on that particular day, I hate the foundation or I love it, so I don't want to give you all a false review these are my honest opinions at the time. I hope this is helpful if you have yet to give this BB cream a try.
Garnier BB Cream-Miracle Skin Perfector 

My skin:
Before I continue with this review, let me tell you a little about my skin; I have oily-combination skin.
Some parts are dry and some get really oily right away after applying any face products. I also have break outs throughout the month and those all depend on my stress levels or what I have been eating lately.
And let me tell you this past month I've had a lot of breakouts and that's the main reason why you won't be seeing the product on my face, I didn't want to scare you all.

The very first thing I noticed about this product is that the packaging is very small (2.0 Fl oz/ 60 ml).
I guess compared to other products.

Warning:
When first using the product I have to warn you it's very watery and trust me it can get very messy, very quickly. So I recommend not squeezing the tube to much trust me the product flies out of there with no problem. Another thing don't leave the product open because I did and it ended up dripping out not only making a mess, but it's also a big waste of product.

Application: 
I first applied it on my face by dotting it all over my face and neck and then with my Elf Powder brush evened it out and let it set. Once the BB cream sets it does just what it claims it mattifies immediately and covers up any imperfections very well.
