Garnier BB Cream-Miracle Skin Perfector Review

1:20 PM

Hello Everyone!
I have given this BB cream a try for over a week now and I 'm ready to share my thoughts on it!
I hauled it over a week ago from Target (check out the haul here!)
I wanted to give it a fair try, so with this one I didn't want to do a first impression.
Depending on my skin on that particular day, I hate the foundation or I love it, so I don't want to give you all a false review these are my honest opinions at the time. I hope this is helpful if you have yet to give this BB cream a try.
Garnier BB Cream-Miracle Skin Perfector

My skin:
Before I continue with this review, let me tell you a little about my skin; I have oily-combination skin.
Some parts are dry and some get really oily right away after applying any face products. I also have break outs throughout the month and those all depend on my stress levels or what I have been eating lately.
And let me tell you this past month I've had a lot of breakouts and that's the main reason why you won't be seeing the product on my face, I didn't want to scare you all.

Shade:
Light/Medium in Combination to Oily Skin formula
(2.0 Fl oz/60 ml)

Price:
$11.99 at Target

What it claims:
This BB cream claims to immediately mattify, minimize pores, conceal imperfections, make skin even and smooth, and also offer SPF20 protection.
The formula is non-comedogenic meaning it won't clog your pores, non-acnegenic meaning it won't cause breakouts. It's also meant to be gentle on the skin, oil-free and non-greasy.
Facts found on the target website (click here).

My First Impressions:
The very first thing I noticed about this product is that the packaging is very small (2.0 Fl oz/ 60 ml).
I guess compared to other products.

Warning:
When first using the product I have to warn you it's very watery and trust me it can get very messy, very quickly. So I recommend not squeezing the tube to much trust me the product flies out of there with no problem. Another thing don't leave the product open because I did and it ended up dripping out not only making a mess, but it's also a big waste of product.

Application:
I first applied it on my face by dotting it all over my face and neck and then with my Elf Powder brush evened it out and let it set. Once the BB cream sets it does just what it claims it mattifies immediately and covers up any imperfections very well.

Additional Facts:
The back of the tube states that the purpose of this BB cream is to prevent sunburns, decrease the risk of skin cancer and early aging caused by the sun 'IF' used correctly with other skin protection and prevention's.
I think it's very cool and informative that the tube comes with all this information on it, not only is it meant to even out your skin from imperfections, but it's mainly to protect you from the sun.

Coverage:
It cover very good.
For me specifically I have a lot of redness and this definitely covered it up and mattified my face to look and seem less oily.
It's a light to medium coverage that is very light weight it doesn't make you feel like you have a heavy foundation on or cakey at all.
I think this is perfect for the summer because it covers everything and evens out, but it doesn't look like your wearing much make up at all.

Overall:
I give this BB cream a 5/5.
I have tried the regular BB cream from Garnier so this is what I compared this new BB cream too and I have to say it makes a huge difference that it's meant for oily combination skin.
I have been using this stuff non stop since I got it and I know I say this about most products I review but it's the honest truth.

Quick Tip:
Instead of concealer on my problem areas, when I feel I need some extra coverage I have been using a little bit of my all time favorite Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation (Check out that review here) on my under eyes and break outs, and it works great.

I hope you enjoyed this review!
