Hello Everyone!!

So today I took a small trip to Target but I swear I had a purpose this time!

One of my co-workers is helping with a Christmas project which helps needy and homeless families have some sort of Christmas for their kids. She has asked all of us at work to bring in little things that we can to help make these kids have a good Christmas.

She has one of the biggest hearts I know, so of course I want to help her out as much as I can.

When she first told me about it I thought of the 'dollar section' at Target, they always have cute things and always for under $3's and of course Target didn't fail me and I managed to find myself a little something which I will share at the end.

Like I said they always have good stuff in this section and these are some of my favorites.

This top in El Salvador, they call it a trompo, my dad has always had one and my grandpa was the best at it!

You put it on the floor and spin it really quickly and you watch it spin, the cool thing is who can keep it going longer. :)My family has good memories with these, so I thought it would be a fun toy for a little boy or girl.

I mean how cute is this little Tambourine, I couldn't pass it up. It reminded me of the holidays for some reason.

All these little wood toys were just too cute and I think pretty unique.

This fun dough came in packs of 4 all for $1 and they come with little cute press molds for the kids.

I think these are all great stocking stuffers for any kids in your family, they give them something to play with and they're just cute! If something small like this can put a smile on a little boy or girls face this Christmas that's all that matters.

Now I don't want to look selfish to where I'm always getting myself a little something I swear I didn't even intend on picking up anything for me but while I was digging for toys and cute stuff for the kids I came across this O.P.I polish for only $4's. I mean if that's not a sign to get it idk what is.

It screams fall/winter I think.

I just ripped the sticker of the price on it and it's called 'I Brake for Manicures'.

What a cute name!

Finding the nail polish reminded me I needed some nail polish remover!

So overall a good find of everything I needed well I didn't really need the polish but what can you do, I love me some new nail polishes especially when it's a good deal.

Gift Ideas: For Her

Hello Everyone!

It might be to early but I did a little shopping today with my mom and while I was at Target I saw a lot of cute stuff that I would personally like as a Xmas gift; that gave me the idea to do a gift guide idea for Her.

I did one of these last year when I first started my blog, so for more ideas check it out here.

I plan on having a couple posts of gift ideas: for him, her, beauty lover, and kids/teens.

All of these ideas are for Christmas shopping on a budget because that's how I personally shop.

I would also love to do a gift guide for those of us who sometimes like to splurge on gifts for our loved ones ;)

Let's get into the gifts and please feel free to leave your own gift ideas for her in the comments down below I would love some more ideas.

1. Cardigans~

You can't go wrong with a warm/cozy cardigan it's such an easy gift because I normally don't like gifting clothes because it's so easy to get the wrong size and especially with girls you never want to offend a girl about her size; cardigans can be fitted but the best thing is they can be over sized and still work great!

2. Cases~

Any girly girl will appreciate a cute phone case, you can never have to many. Just make sure you know what type of phone they have because some phones don't have many cute cases it that's the case you can get her phone accessories which are also very cute.

3. Dainty Rings~

Anywhere you go from Forever 21 to H&M you will find the cutest rings. You can even make it more personal by getting her something she likes whether it's hearts, stars, little animals or even gold or silver whatever you know she will enjoy!

Quick Tip:

Have her try on some of your rings that way you get an idea of her ring size.

4. Dainty Jewelry~

Something small and dainty is very personal, like the necklace I choose above (#4) has a initial on it. Adding a small touch makes her think you actually put some thought into the gift and didn't just get something last minute.

5. Make-up Bag~

Every girl needs a make-up bag or beauty bag for everyday necessities. I think this Forever 21 bag is so classic it's simple & chic.

6. Robe~

A robe is an essential for all girls, from getting out the shower to when your having those lazy days and don't want to get dressed. Instead of wrapping yourself in a blanket throw on a robe and your warm & cozy, so I think it's a very thoughtful and cute gift.

7. Slippers on-the-go~

Slippers are perfect to carry in your purse for the holidays especially for those long family parities when you want to be comfy. A perfect gift to a girly girl who is always in uncomfortable shoes (lol).

8. Slipper Boots~

Instead of having the normal boring home slippers why not have some comfy warm boots to keep your feet warm. Super cute.

So this kind of became a Christmas wish list (lol) I do have some of this stuff so that's why I thought it would make a great gift and some of it is just too cute for any girl in your life.

I've been in need of a new mascara, the one I've had was starting to dry up but still working pretty good.

As always when I go to the drugstore I always see 'NEW' items, I just cant help my self. So this trip I spotted this really cool looking mascara from L'oreal.

The name, display and packaging all got me!

I've' been using it for a couple of days now, I will keep you posted on what I think.

Umm.. by the end of this haul you will notice I'm very attracted to L'oreal products (lol). Here is another L'oreal product and this one I've used before I've actually been using it and loving it, the liner just started running out on me so I had to run out and pick up a back up asap.

Lips

Fairest nude is a necessity in my beauty collection and I was also running low and most of the time when look for this color they're always out so I was very excited to see it in stock.

I like the idea of lip balms or lip stains so I decided to pick this one up from Revlon, the color looked pretty dark at first but once you apply it's not as dark as you think. It also applies very soft, I really liked that

and it's like a big o' crayon (lol).

Smitten (030)

Did I mention already how happy I am that Target now carry's NYX? Well, I'm very excited!

I always check out their section and I wanted to give the lip products a try and I picked up this nude color in Thalia. It's very pretty and it also applies very nicely and soft.

Face

Oh primers! Sometimes I'm a little iffy about buying primers because I don't see much of a difference at the end of the day. But checking out the NYX section I had to pick up this high definition primer. I've used it a couple of times and I'm still making up my mind on if I like it or not.

We all need some make up towelettes, I really like these from the Up&Up brand at Target they're really affordable and they work great on me. Very refreshing.

Hair

Okay before I go in to the hair products, if you follow me on Instagram or if you've seen my latest ootd then you would have noticed I dyed my hair red, now because I did that I wanted to pick up some new hair products to help maintain this hair a little longer.

First thing on my list was Dry Shampoo!

This was very important to me especially now because with my new hair color I'm trying to wash my hair as least as possible. If you don't know about red hair every time you wash it the hair is stripped and it begins to fade very quickly, so a way to maintain it is to not wash it as much.

Now with that being said I don't wash it many times which of course gives me oily/dirty hair and that's where dry shampoo is my new best friend.

I mentioned in my October Favorites how the Suave dry shampoo would leave my hair white and just not cute so that's why I picked up this one from Dove, and so far so good!

So I did a little research on good shampoos & conditioners for red hair and I kept coming across this brand, which is sold at Sally's. I knew it was going to be a little pricey but to my surprise they were both on sale.

If you have red hair I would defiantly check them out.

Original Price is about $15's on Sale they were $7.50 each.

I ended up paying basically for 1 shampoo and got the conditioner & shampoo for the price of one.

Keep in mind this is the big bottle of 1L/ 33.8 fl oz.

I will try and do a post about my thoughts on this shampoo and the updates on how it's kept my hair but really quickly I will tell you it's very drying!

I wouldn't recommend this to someone who has red hair and dry hair on top of it, because your hair will be dry and very tangled. I don't have dry hair normally but this stuff did dry my hair and the conditioner didn't help de-tangle it either.

Because the shampoo I've been using is very drying I picked up this L'oreal EverSleek treatment with argan oil. I''ve only used it once so I don't have many thoughts on it yet. But for a drugstore product I think the packaging is very nice.

I know I gave mini reviews on most of the stuff I picked up and it's mainly because I hauled this stuff a couple of days ago and I've had a chance to give most of the stuff a try.

My sister carved the pumpkin in the pictures, and we joked about it having chola eyebrows (lol) this was her least favorite pumpkin hahah.

This Sally Hansens Nail polish remover has been so good to me. It works really good almost as close as my 100% acetone but I feel like my nails aren't as sensitive to the Sally Hansens remover. This stuff is meant to make your nails stronger and I think it does a good job.

So with fall coming around finally here in Cali for us I was very excited to start rocking the dark nails!

I am obsessed with black nails I have it on right now and I've re painted them a couple of times.

The pretty dark purple shade is one of my favorites right now too. The quality of this nail polish isn't that great so I don't recommend the brand as much, but the color is very pretty.

As far as my go to nail strengthener & top coat nothing has changed these two have been my favorite since I got them.

Hair

This was one of my favorite hair products in the month of October. Especially because I was trying to maintain my color because I didn't get many chances to re touch it so not washing it was my best bet and this stuff helped maintain the oils away pretty good.

Now I do have to say I'm posting this a little late and going into November I decided to dye my hair red, and after trying this dry shampoo on the 3rd day of having red hair, it was a total FAIL.

The white from the dry shampoo was showing and it turned into a powder and just became a mess.

So if you have red hair don't use this stuff!

Make-Up

This has been a favorite discovery of mine. I got it last year for X-mas and I'm barely getting around to using it.

My favorite shadows are of course the nudes and brown shades. I know they look a little glittery but on the eyes you don't really see the glitter. It looks pretty and very simple.

The highlight is my favorite; its very pretty.

I use the real techniques eye shadow brush to apply the dark brown shade all over my eye and I have to say this brush is so soft on my eye lids, it's just amazing.

For my face I use this real techniques powder brush.

Again another really soft brush, I use it to apply my face powder once I'm done with all my make up and it works amazingly.

Now to take care of my good brushes I spot clean them (when I have a chance) as I'm doing my make up or once I'm done. I have to say this stuff smells so good, well it makes the brushes smell good (lol). It works really well, it takes the make up off the brushes and doesn't leave any residue. I've used the at home stuff before and it leaves my brushes oily and smelling funky so I'd rather go with this stuff.

This is another discovery of mine.

I always change my eye liners because I find something I hate about them and that's how I came across this one, which has been a favorite of mine before.

The liner I was using before this was just not cutting it for me, it would crease after a couple of hours of wearing it and that just wasn't okay for me. I would have to be checking my eyes in the mirror or what I would do is tap my finger against my eye lid and check for eye liner and without a doubt I always found some on there.

This L'oreal Liner Intense eye liner doesn't crease it last me most of the day and is pretty easy to work with.

I do think sometimes the tip can be a little to thick, but it works.
