First Beauty Haul of 2014: ULTA & More

Hello Everyone!!

I have been waiting for this new year to come so I could haul some new beauty items!
I have seen so many videos and blog posts of whats new at the drug store and I wanted to get out there and see for myself.
Sometimes things on camera look so much cooler than in person which is what I found out (lol).
So I picked up some new items and some not so new that I just really wanted to try out.
I hope you enjoy my first Haul of 2014!

Hot Tools Rainbow Gold Curling Iron

I have been wanting a new curling wand for awhile now; I debated on getting a new curling iron or a straightener but lately I've been doing my hair more curly than straight so I knew getting an updated curling wand would be a lot more useful and fun.
The one I have now works great but it's only a 1 inch and I have been wanting bigger hair.
I passed by the hot tools section at ULTA and noticed they were On Sale for $39.99/originally $53.99.

On top of getting a great deal, well I think so, I was able to pick up the rainbow one which I think is so pretty!

John Frieda Radiant Red

This product was recommended to me by theMakeupAffair, who also has red hair and this is something she has used before and loved!

I recently posted a picture of my red hair on Instagram and shared how dull it became after one wash so I was looking for something new to use on my hair and she recommended this one. Which I've herd good things about; it's a red shampoo & conditioner that helps preserve the color.

Covergirl Clump Crusher & Revlon 3D Mascara

I have been needing a new mascara for awhile now I was using the L'oreal Butterfly Mascara and I realized it was making my eyes burn throughout the day. I don't want to get to much into that mascara right now, if you would like an update on that mascara let me know.

I decided to pick up a Covergirl mascara because they always work great and they always have fun new ones to try out.
Now the Revlon mascara I haven't haerd to much about from the reviews I looked up a lot of people didn't like it to much but I'd rather try it out myself. Have you tried it? Let me know.

I'm very close to running out of my go to Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation and when I saw Covergirl had a new foundation out I had to hunt it down.

At Ulta they actually didn't have many shades to choose from so I went to Ride Aid where I found it for $8.49 w/ a $1.50 coupon.

If you can get your hands on a coupon head to Walgreens because they're on sale right now for $8.99.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser

This product is getting a lot of attention in the beauty community; I wanted to pick it up to see if it's worth the hype.
It's sold out everywhere including Ulta, who will not be having any new ones till Friday.
I finally got my hands on it at Walgreens for $6.99.
I looked online and it seems to be the cheapest at Target for $5.99.
I can't wait to try it, if you've had a chance to try it please share your thoughts!

Pond's Luminous Finish BB+ Cream

I actually really wanted to try this after seeing Sonia Castaneda's review.

I'm very curious to see how this products works on my skin.

My skin has actually been clearing up a lot, aside from some dark spots and scaring so, I have been leaving the house with no make up on a lot more and I would really like to have a product like this for those days when I don't want to wear make up but still want to look alive.

Find it at ULTA for $8.99; I tried looking for it at Ride Aid to compare prices and I didn't see it.

Rimmel London Show off Lip Lacquer in Comet (200)

Check out the different colors here.

I've never really tried Rimmel London products from what I can remember, but this lip lacquer stood out to me it's pretty new I believe. But I thought it would go well on top of a nude lipstick so I can't wait to try it.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner

Another Rimmel London product that stood out to me.

I always like trying new eyeliners and I haven't herd to much from this one, it looks pretty cool.

It's also waterproof which I'm looking forward to testing out.

ULTA Cotton Balls

Last but not least cotton balls!

I always want to pick up some of these at the drugstore but I either forget or decided not to pay like $3+ for cotton balls, but they were $1.99 at ULTA so not to bad and I remembered this time.

As I'm sure you can tell I spent a lot of time at ULTA.

I checked every section for new items and things that just stood out. They actually opened an ULTA near me so I will be able to go a lot more often which I'm very excited about.

Blogmas Day 25: Christmas Gifts

I hope you are all having a Happy Christmas!

Today I bring you my Christmas gifts, I did this last year and it was pretty fun so I wanted to share with you all what I got this year.

I think I mentioned last year that my family and friend know me pretty well, I swear sometimes they surprise me with how well they know me.

Now I'm not doing this to brag or to show off at all I just think these kinds of posts are always fun to look at!

Let's get in to the gifts.

Christmas Gifts

I got a lot of awesome stuff! To make it easier to share I separated everything in different Categories.

Scarves

If you know me, you know I love my scarves; and I have been on a hunt for a cheetah print scarf for years now and I finally got two of my favorite prints, along with a cool wolf scarves and my favorite a Scarf hanger. I opened it today and I already piled it up with all my scarves and it works so good!

Beauty

Make up bags, nail polishes & an Urban Decay palette!

I was so surprised to open this up I have two products I have heard so many good things about and stuff I have been wanting to try out for a long time.

The salon effects I can't wait to try and I will be playing with this palette soon.

Clothes

My mom never fails to get us a cute pair of Pj's & new slippers or this year a pair of cute slipper boots!

My lovely sister knows me so well and got me a 'I love coke shirt', it's so awesome I wore it today.

She also got me a pretty shirt for work which I can't wait to wear.

Saved the Best for Last

I seriously almost cried when I opened this up, this was the gift from my boyfriend, which to be honest I had a feeling I was getting this but when I opened it I couldn't believe it, I still can't.

But here it is:

He got me a Cannon 7D DSLR!!!!!

I just can't (lol) The camera is amazing, I have barely put it down I have been taking pictures all day.

I hope this camera brings better quality to my blog and I am just so excited and very blessed for all the people in my life.

Stocking Stuffers for Kids

Hello Everyone!!

So today I took a small trip to Target but I swear I had a purpose this time!

One of my co-workers is helping with a Christmas project which helps needy and homeless families have some sort of Christmas for their kids. She has asked all of us at work to bring in little things that we can to help make these kids have a good Christmas.

She has one of the biggest hearts I know, so of course I want to help her out as much as I can.

When she first told me about it I thought of the 'dollar section' at Target, they always have cute things and always for under $3's and of course Target didn't fail me and I managed to find myself a little something which I will share at the end.

Like I said they always have good stuff in this section and these are some of my favorites.

This top in El Salvador, they call it a trompo, my dad has always had one and my grandpa was the best at it!

You put it on the floor and spin it really quickly and you watch it spin, the cool thing is who can keep it going longer. :)My family has good memories with these, so I thought it would be a fun toy for a little boy or girl.

I mean how cute is this little Tambourine, I couldn't pass it up. It reminded me of the holidays for some reason.

All these little wood toys were just too cute and I think pretty unique.

This fun dough came in packs of 4 all for $1 and they come with little cute press molds for the kids.

I think these are all great stocking stuffers for any kids in your family, they give them something to play with and they're just cute! If something small like this can put a smile on a little boy or girls face this Christmas that's all that matters.

Now I don't want to look selfish to where I'm always getting myself a little something I swear I didn't even intend on picking up anything for me but while I was digging for toys and cute stuff for the kids I came across this O.P.I polish for only $4's. I mean if that's not a sign to get it idk what is.

It screams fall/winter I think.

I just ripped the sticker of the price on it and it's called 'I Brake for Manicures'.

What a cute name!

Finding the nail polish reminded me I needed some nail polish remover!

So overall a good find of everything I needed well I didn't really need the polish but what can you do, I love me some new nail polishes especially when it's a good deal.
